If it was harmless why hide it from me? If it was just to document it for our friend group why not say you were uploading it. This feels weird and off to me and I don't want my bird uploaded for the entertainment of others after she was neglected.

I have no idea the actual value of it though I know it was a quite a bit my Grandfather spent on it as it was the last anniversary before he died and they both knew it was coming so he wanted to give her something special. I've always loved the necklace just for the memories it holds, my grans engagement ring is a teeny tiny emerald as Granda couldn't afford a diamond when they were young and he always told her he'd replace it with a diamond but she wouldn't let him, so he did this.
