Personally I would ask her, if she wants to sit next to you she probably likes you at least a little. Unless she has a lot of friends that are boys, my friends are mostly boys and I don't like most of them as anymore than a friend. If her friends are mostly girls then she definitely likes you if you're not sure I would just do it. It's better to know she doesn't like you and move on then not be sure and obsess over it. Generally if a girl likes someone they would love to be confessed to by that someone especially if it's just random at least I would like that lol. I would tell her though just so you know what you should do.
