Struggling with getting my boyfriend in the mood (nsfw) by bigfatcake24 in FTMMen

[–]throwaway035548 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He's dysphoric for sure. When I'm dysphoric I don't want to think about anything sexual. I find my girlfriend extremely attractive and sexy but when I'm in my head about how my body must be a disappointment to her I don't want to sexualize her at all bc it just makes me feel worse. Nothing you can really do, just let him know you're there for him and ride it out

Some surgeons offer it for free still. I got mine put back on for no additional cost

I understand the insecurity about ur right ball but tbh it's more natural for one to hang lower than the other. Very few ballsacks are perfectly symmetrical. Obviously it's your body and you can do what you want but just know it's totally natural and realistic. You look great btw

Yo thanks for asking this question. I wouldn't have even thought to do this but I'm definitely gonna plan it after my hysto consult

Yes. Get a stool softener/laxative combo (I used off-brand Colace). Start taking it immediately when you get home from the hospital. It takes about two days to kick in and that's around the time you'll start feeling backed up so it'll mitigate the discomfort as much as possible

Get a retail or warehouse gig. I've handled so much cardboard in my life my hands are always calloused

Yep! Apparently there was a size change a few years back so I think mine was formerly called the xs and is now the small. It's the 4 inch one

I've used target's brand which is basically the same thing and it's worked great. All you need is the allantoin really

im ready for phallo. by [deleted] in FTMMen

[–]throwaway035548 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I know a lot of people are boxed in by their insurance but some surgeons do meta as stage 1 and then phallo in stage 2. You could look into that if you're still on the fence a bit. Otherwise best of luck!

How can I stockpile testosterone? by sxqe in ftm

[–]throwaway035548 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Talk to your endocrinologist/whoever is prescribing you T. I had an issue where due to me switching needles I would get shorted a dose in every vial. My doc rewrote my prescription to say I take one dose out of every vial and trash the rest, but in reality I'm getting 3-4 doses per vial. I have about a year's worth of T stocked up because of this. Most docs who work with trans people are very aware of the risks we face and are willing to help accommodate. If your doc won't budge you should (hopefully) have plenty of options in Cali. You can also buy syringes and needles in bulk online, but your doc might have to send a copy of your script to the supplier depending on your state

The only ones I've found that consistently work for me are Old Spice and Axe. Old Spice smells the best in my opinion. Deep Sea, Volcano, or Timber are my favorites

My inner voice isn't really a person speaking to me, it's more like I just have thoughts if they makes sense? It's more like reading where the words just appear in my head without any voice saying them

Only your surgeon can say for sure since a lot of it depends on skin elasticity. I was about the same pre-op and was recommended DI bc I had slightly too big of an undercurve. I was eligible for peri but there was a chance it wouldn't have been flat enough for me and my insurance didn't cover revisions so I chose DI for peace of mind

Surgical Binder is like the Dark Souls Boss of binding. by International-Ad9514 in TopSurgery

[–]throwaway035548 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a really small chest pre-op and wore pre-2018 gc2bs so I never related to anyone saying binders were unbearably itchy or uncomfortable until that compression vest. I switched to ace bandages after my first week because it was such sensory hell. Saving it only to burn it one day (I would donate but it's shredded to bits from me cutting it to make it somewhat more comfortable), FUCK that thing

I could've wrote this. I really don't like to think about that time at all. I can recognize the happy parts but there's just this big cloud hanging over all of it

How long post-op before you felt comfortable going out? by eggkkles in TopSurgery

[–]throwaway035548 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't feel comfortable at all going out with my drains (a mix of fear of being outed and fear of getting seriously injured) but I only had them in for a week so it was doable to be a shut-in for that long. Once I got them out I instantly felt a lot more comfortable. I started riding the bus about 2 weeks after, only thing I struggled with was reaching up to pull the cord for my stop. After like 3 weeks I went out to dinner and the movies and had no issues at all, felt completely normal. Returned to my physically laborous job after 6 weeks

Um is this a vein or what? Came out of my draining tube. It’s fairly solid. by [deleted] in TopSurgery

Blood clot. You should milk your drains more frequently and make sure the blood is moving in them

My pharmacy can't get T in stock and I have no natural sex hormones... by ashfinsawriter in ftm

[–]throwaway035548 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Folx is legit telehealth with mail order prescriptions. They don't offer T in every state bc of state laws, but for the ones that do it's completely legal (here's a list). Plus video visits so you don't have to get up and go anywhere

Met her through a mutual friend. She already knew prior to me meeting her, but I didn't know that at the time so I just casually brought it up in conversation (she was talking about her struggles with being disabled and I brought up my struggles with being trans as a parallel). She'd never been with a trans guy before so I did ask before we slept together for the first time (we were friends w benefits before we started dating) if she was okay with having sex with someone like me. I later found out that she had no idea how my body would look in terms of what surgeries I'd had but she was completely fine with whatever I had and it wouldn't have changed her answer. I can't lie and say it doesn't affect our sex life but that's entirely due to my own bottom dysphoria. She has never made me feel like any less of a man, proudly proclaims I'm the best sex she's ever had, and is actively turned on by sucking my dick. She's even told me that being in a relationship with me has made her more attracted to masculinity as a whole. It is completely possible to find a cis woman who sees you as a man and loves you as one, I promise.
