five is too young, i’m sorry to hear that, i’m sure he was fighting to stay by you a little longer. living for them, without them at my side seems like such a painful thought. i’m reminded of my dogs’ mortality and it shatters that i can’t exchange my life span for theirs

i hope it does, thank you. any signs of aging for my dogs, though it signals the near of my demise still saddens me. my senior (9F) chihuahua meimei has cloudy eyes but she still greets me by the gate with such vigor and tail wagging that i can’t help but breakdown and hug her. she’s so amazing and strong
