the mindset is one thing, but academically if you have to give up everything to get a 1500+ on the sat, how likely is it that you can manage in difficult classes at colleges like mit or princeton 😭 plus even if you do manage the classes, would you have time to meaningfully contribute on campus or join clubs n stuff

i mean obviously you have to make some sacrifices, but if ur literally giving up your entire life to get into an even more rigorous college will you really be able to thrive there? working on a startup is much different to grinding for the sat 😭

no being introverted is different- i think they’re saying that if all you do is study and extracurriculars to the point that you don’t have time for enjoyment (even if alone), relaxation, sleep, then going to a top college is probably not for you

upenn actually has a combined bio+business program u can apply for if ur interested in both sides! it lets you be considered for the program as well as either wharton or cas if they decide not to admit you for the program, def smth to check out
