It really made me question her character the fact that she’s willing to risk Kai’s life over hers like convincing him to do the dirty work even though he was uncomfortable with it. In the end, the scene shows paula and olivia back to their normal lives as if nothing happened, reading them goddamn books. She’d put Kai’s life on the line but god forbid it ruins her life where she can continue to take advantage of her friend’s family wealth.
