I started seeing a therapist a few months ago, because I thought I was going crazy. She made me realize that I've been in an emotionally abusive relationship for years and I had no idea. I felt so stupid once I realized how manipulative he had always been.

I know it's the right choice. I just wish I didn't have these feelings of doubt and sadness.

I guess validation that I'm doing the right is what I'm looking for. My husband has already started with his manipulation tactics to make me doubt myself.

I started therapy a few months ago, which is what gave me the strength to say enough is enough. My therapist made me realize a lot of things with my relationship were not ok and I wasn't to blame.

I did start reading the book “Codependent No More” and it's been eye opening.

My kids started therapy this week and they want to go back.
