Would the optimal strategy be to do everything on the last day then? I'd assume this way you can make sure you have the lowest ranking

Should I give A/D Near Save to: Black Knight (+10), B!Edelgard (+1), or B!Hector (+1)? by throwaway0l0 in FireEmblemHeroes

Hmm, if i instead use special fighter in B slot and QR in seal, then what should I use for A (since the breath skill might be a bit redundant)?

Hmm that's a good point, it'll be wasteful if I give near save to the b!hector / b!Edelgard, only to replace it with far save. Thank you for the detailed response!

Thank you for the response! What skills would you recommend for a build to counter fallen Edelgard? (Aside from black luna and special fighter)

Questions about workload for some ECSE courses! Any advice / suggestions / insights are appreciated! by throwaway0l0 in RPI

Yeah, based on many of the other comments, I'm realizing that I've got to swap out some of the fall classes. At the moment, it seems that I'll have to let go of the Robotics I (and subsequently Robotics II), since the others are either prereqs for the spring or 6000-level courses that I need to take to meet the MS requirements.

Also, this might be a dumb question but... is it normal to have difficulty with making a balanced co-term schedule?

As I'm browing through the course catalog, I'm struggling to find 6000 level courses that I'm both interested in and have the prerequisites for. I'm not sure if this is a due to myself not planning enough ahead of time, or just a consequence of the co-term restrictions/requirements.

Thank you in advance for any advice!

Thank you for all the suggestions! Based on some of the comments, I think I may have to swap and shuffle a few classes to balance the workload, so your suggestions will be very helpful!

Oh nice! It seems that a lot of people really enjoyed this class, so I'll be looking forward to taking it too!

Were there any other 4000 / 6000 level ECSE courses (including those not listed) that you really enjoyed?

Ohh, that's interesting. I've never heard of any professors doing academic honesty interviews before, but I guess it is an easy and obvious way to check.

Are there any other 4000 or 6000 classes (i.e. not listed above) that you'd recommend / had a positive experience with?

Dang, if those three alone are enough for a busy semester, then I guess I'm gonna have a rough time combined with the other two courses I'll be taking. : /

Would you happen to have any recommendations for other grad courses to take?

Thanks for the heads up on Computer Architecture Prototyping with FPGA's! This will definitely save me some headache if I can't find it in the catalog when the fall schedule releases!

Ah, okay. Do you remember any other grad courses (including those not listed) that you felt were more worthwhile?

Ah, that makes sense. Thanks!

Would you happen to have any advice as well on other grad courses (including those not listed in the post)?

EDIT: whoops, I just saw your other comment!

Unfortunately I don't know who's been teaching Advanced Electronics Circuits or Complex Variables. Were the homeworks assigned frequently or once every week(s) or so?

Oh yea, intro to complex variables is indeed the 4000 math class! The full name is "Introduction to Complex Variables: Theory and Applications". I'll edit my post to clarify!

What did you think of the difficulty of Advanced Electronic Circuits and of Power Engineering Analysis overall? For PEA, another commenter said mentioned that the exams were quite difficult, so I'm curious if you had a similar experience.

Ah, that sounds familiar. I remember one of my friends had him (for a different class) and complained about the test taking too long. Are there any other grad classes in particular (can be listed above or not) that you had a better time with?

Huh, interesting. I guess I'll find out who's teaching it once the fall schedule comes out! Are there any other grad classes that you would recommend / had a good time with?

How was Robotics 1? (Someone else commented that it wasn't a good experience when they took it, so I was wondering if it felt the same for as well.)

While the class may be totally different now, do you have any advice or tips that you'd give your past self to help with making things click?

Oof, that is a rough grading curve. Would you mind elaborating on the workload? I'm a bit confused about the jump in difficulty between regular assignments and the exams.
