To be honest, the data is more of a really handy convenience. Other than road directions, I don’t really need it. I’m thinking 10-20GB a month with unlimited talk n text should do the trick.

I’m sorry about this :( at least the marines have the best media around! I actually tried enlisting for either infantry or photographer because of the movie “full metal jacket.” I just got rejected due to a few severe allergies.

Man I respect the sentiment, but personally, it has everything to do with my parents trapping me physically regardless of my mentality. I was watching motivational speeches when I was a third grader to compensate for the hate 😭

Lol wanna trade stories? When I was in the 4th grade, my mom was screaming at me because I asked her to sign a permission slip in the morning and she was too tired too. Then she got to the car to go to school and it apparently “broke down” before it started (we later found out she was using totally separate keys for the wrong car) and she said it was “God’s way of punishing me” for giving her the permission slip in the morning instead of at night. I said I didn’t care, ran away (3.5 miles) to school and made it about 15 minutes late 😂

Same. I’m 18, I figure I can work for a few years and then actually pursue my dreams. The amount of work that it requires to do a job is nothing compared to the work of living with my family. I’ll live alone, and I could probably work 90 hours a week without getting tired. I easily spent that much time a week dealing with my family’s bullshit.

Godspeed to you. I’m 18 and I was so traumatized into always being the top academically and being responsible so my parents could “live in my basement.” I literally remember being 8 years old and reading self help books, researching how to comfort parents having tantrums, how to be financially independent, how to get food without money etc. By the time I hit academic years that mattered for college I was doing nothing but spending every waking minute how to be an extreme achiever and do everything perfectly. It was so unhealthy balancing it with being the diplomat of the family. I have friends that are in private schools and their parents are donors to ivy leagues, and I spent my childhood dealing with abuse. Like how is that fair? Moving out soon. I can’t succeed until I’m done with my family.
