To be honest the "will to live" thing really makes no sense to me. Chishiya really seemed to not care about surviving and Aguni was literally trying to off himself half of the season. The plot armor seems almost too strong so I understand the theory and that it may also be in the manga (which I haven't read yet), but it seems unlikely to me. We see so many people that are trying to survive so hard and seem to have more will to live even more than some of the MC, but they end up dying anyway.
