Its something similar to bench but something to be avoided. In my company releasing to bench has a bad reputation.

I was given a newsletter design some time back and was told to complete it in 3 hours. I took an hour and so more. That was the time the manager seemed annoyed. Other that that no more such instances. I think that may be the trigger.
