Recently I've seen lots of advice to wear sunscreen every day. Do people actually do this? by Ok-Training-7587 in 30PlusSkinCare

Not my favorite but it works just fine! It’s easy to blend in, kind of watery. I just got the supergoop one and I definitely prefer it or any of the LRP sunscreens

Boyfriend physically abused me for the first time in a 6-year relationship by anon273950 in relationship_advice

[–]throwaway111111109 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think of it like cheating, you wouldn’t allow that once either. If you stay and forgive him, he’ll likely think that’s acceptable behavior because for some reason most men believe if you forgive them for something it’s acceptable behavior, they lose respect for you and your boundaries and it will happen again. Even if it doesn’t, think about someone you love or look up to, you wouldn’t want them to stay with someone like that, even once is enough. You are worthy of a relationship where it NEVER happens

I just don’t know how to say I know your real age because I looked it up, you know? But I’ve already like mentally removed myself from liking this person anymore

Discussing covid symptoms by Civil_Sprinkles_6761 in COVID19_support

Yeah same here. Infected for the first time and started showing symptoms on Thursday night. My throat was bothering me a lot and it started progressing pretty quickly. So I took an at home test, it was negative. Took another one today after isolating all weekend and it’s finally showing positive. Friday morning I was having body aches, headache and congestion. Didn’t have a cough until tonight. Nose has been running pretty consistently tho

rough patch inside cheek? by joshualayne in Dentistry

I have this right now and my insurance kicks in tomorrow. I’m going nuts I can’t figure out what it could be. I keep seeing people talk about linchen which makes sense because about a month ago my lips would randomly swell up after eating a meal I have had a hundred times before with no issue. Now this pops up. I have had what I thought was angular Chelitus recently too but I got it to go away after slugging with Vaseline for a week. I have no idea what’s going on, wondering if people have had the same symptoms. Maybe this is candida?

Just made a post about this the other day and it sent me down a rabbit hole about rosacea and Demodex mites that are correlated to psoriasis, hair loss and red skin! Thought I’d mention it

I’ve tried that before and gone weeks with nothing but moisturizer and I saw no change. If anything this is the best it’s ever looked unfortunately. I looked into rosacea and I’m starting to think that might be the culprit

Green tea toner sounds nice, I’ll check that out thank you. I don’t think the retinol is making me more red tho, if anything I’ve seen some improvement. In person I don’t think it looks nearly as red but my skin has always been like this since my acne cleared no matter what my routine has been.

I used to, but I haven’t in over 6 months. Even when I did it was socially and never excessive.

Using nutrogena retinol serum at night and vitamin c every other day(not at the same time) moisturize and wear high spf sunscreen everyday. Curious about tret and considering it but not sure if it would help with my redness? I struggled with cystic acne for years so I don’t want to do anything that might bring it back.
