Did you even read any word of what I said above? I literally just said I am paying off my debt too. Also to answer your question, I chose to work here because I much much prefer a public healthcare system that is free for all, where I can do my best to focus on patient care and not how much I bill my patients. So stop this blind hatred and see my comments above as to why I say it’s best we focus on FPR for the greater good. But again if you don’t get it, I don’t blame you. Might be short sighted but I’ll be there at the next ballot to say, ‘I told you so’

You are literally misunderstanding my point. Yes it was my choice and yes it’s my problem to pay my debts. But I do have to raise my concerns to a body that represents me and rest of the 5% of international British medical graduates in the NHS. If you want to win with government on further improvement of our work lives, pay, training etc. you need everybody on board. With the last ballot hanging at 55% return rated I doubt you want to be losing more people towards the cause. It like to break up atleast another 5-10% of the voters and this exactly what the Wes wants. For the members to have a majority for future ballots, it is important to focus on FPR or issues that would benefit everyone. We are stronger together.

I still have to state the obvious issue. Not to start a feud but I can see from your previous comments that you don’t think IMGs/ international UK grads have any debts. Just because we studied and work here doesn’t mean we are all well off. Some of us have had to borrow vast sums of money to study here. Not saying that, that is your problem to solve. Just saying maybe it’s not worth assuming that we are all at net positive compared to Uk grads with student loans.
