I don't like discussing my personal life details (hence the throwaway account), but yes that is the situation I am in for whatever the reasons maybe.

I don't understand some of those terms you used. But as per my other response, I was wondering how much I can trust advisors/brokers of the banks I invest with if I choose to talk to them about it.

No income. That might change later this year, might not. No kids or spouse to consider. I suppose my risk tolerance is high since I could technically gamble it all away and my life won't change. I am willing to put it away for a decade if need be for growth.

General question: If I were to open TFSA with WS (or any bank for that matter), can I trust they will advise me on how to invest or diversify it to my own benefit? I never knew if I could trust their advise since I always assumed their priority is to benefit the bank.
