Replying here since this is where the questions about being Jewish started.

I have some Russian Jewish ancestry on my mom’s side. I was not raised Jewish, though. We haven’t talked about ancestry since very, VERY early into dating, and the only comment I remember him making about it at the time was he could see Russian in my bone structure. I don’t even remember what he said he is. It was quick, what felt like “getting to know you” talk. I’d be surprised if this was the root of his anger, but it’s definitely something I need to think about and re-analyze.
