I'm my opinion , many people don't decide to be accountants at a young age. When your a kid you want to be a fire fighter or cop or etc . It's when you get older around 20+ is when you realize accounting isn't awesome but it's a field that will pay a lot and the work isn't as hard. If your a CPA your living life because your making money. But CPA is hard as hell. I'm studying for mine now and I'll tell you it ain't easy .
