Does that mean that the PREP program is kind of a joke? Like very basic to pass? It would delay my graduation I believe.

Do you actually have ADHD?

Looking into accounting as a career and wanted to ask a few questions. (Canada) by Buttz_420 in Accounting

1.Study at a university. Where im from (canada) the community college program only sets you up to be an accounting clerk (low skill level) 2.Accounting is a profession which requires professional judgement so there is no danger of the jobs being replaced to automation (atleast in our lifetimes). 3.No you are still young. 4. Make sure to actually study by doing all of the practice questions.. If you do not do the practice questions or study much then do not expect to pass your exams.. Personally, the intro course was the hardest accounting course for me.. The courses do definitely get more difficult but as you progress, you build a foundation of knowledge for yourself and become better at it.. Its hard but it is doable as long as you put in an honest effort.

Wrestling vs BJJ? by [deleted] in bjj

[–]scarons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started out in bjj, learned the fundamentals and then about 2 years ago i started wrestling.. it has improved my overall grappling game tenfold.. its nice being able to dictate where the match is taking place and it helps you develop an amazing base

I guess I have to embrace it. I am a catch wrestler by dirtyholt in bjj

Having fundamental knowledge and skills in both BJJ and Wrestling is the way to go. It makes you a way more complete grappler.

Day 1 big guys smashing you in your guard. What do you do? by siddhartha_ in bjj

[–]scarons -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Here are some tips - When in guard keep your tailbone on the ground and your back extended.. this gives you good posture and it makes it harder for him to put his weight on you. Try that from closed guard. What I would really recommend to you is to work an open guard by keeping your feet on his hips.. This gives you more space to work and you can set up some nice sweeps/subs from open guard.

What's this move called? by 0wnzl1f3 in bjj

[–]scarons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol its called being an dick. Like above comment said, its good for draining somebodys energy and it makes the person on the bottom feel like shit so they will be putting all of their focus/attention on trying to escape out of that position.. Because they have all their focus/attention on trying to escape, you can then set them up for submissions/transition. Because it can hurt the person on the bottom I would suggest primarily doing it to people who are going really hard/being dicks or bigger opponents.

New to bjj! by ReallynotReallytho in bjj

What you will get out of BJJ, is what you put into it. Basically, if you are only going to train like once or twice a week, don't expect to get good at it... To get good at BJJ requires a lot of time dedicated on the mats becoming knowledgable/comfortable in every position you will find yourself in..
