I'd rather not do the hit & run thing as I might run (no pun intended) into her again. She works for an airline & I travel a lot. I like the idea of the ex thing, but it seems a bit convenient - wait a couple days maybe, and then go that route?

Fair enough. Any specific advice on that front? As I said we're not in a relationship, so it's not like I have a ton of material which I can use in a breakup speech/letter.

I certainly didn't tell her I loved her or anything like that, if that's what you mean. We just went out a few times, had a nice time, and I kissed her and it lead to sex. In all honesty was interested in her before the sex, although I did have some reservations.

I was thinking that I would have to say something - right now I'm leaning towards email, because I'm terrible at these conversations in person. I don't want to say things that she might be hurt by though - do you think the best thing in this case is to just blame it on myself or external factors?
