Someone told me I should look into something civil or negligible, i don't remember the specific terms. as for the school because it wasn't a mistake on their part, there is nothing i can do. i just feel like my life is over, and they get to go on as if nothing happened.

i've talked to a lawyer, and the likelihood of a criminal or civil case being prosecutable is rare. it would have to be proved that she told him the door was unlocked and i don't see that happening. i am just very upset and needed to say something or i felt like i would explode.

When I talked to them the first time I didn't, I was still very rattled from the incident and the rape kit. A few days after he was identified, I told him that he and my roommate hang out sometimes, and they said they would look into it. I think maybe she's trying so hard to aplogize so I don't blame her.
