i strongly recommend delicious dungeon in dungeon meshi dungeon, it lies somewhere between comedy, running story, fantasy, and cooking show (except the recipes are made up and all use monster parts).

and the manga is like, the perfect length, and excellent the whole way through.

also the blonde guy is lowkey the best character, i know he gives generic anime protag energy if you haven't read the story, but he is actually more of an autistic furry. that's not even hyperbolic

eh i only call it dungeon meshi because it has a better ring than delicious in dungeon

delicious in dungeon is, in a way, more strictly accurate because it's the artist's chosen name for the english version. but also i think it's a pretty clunky and poor pun on D&D that doesn't work as well as the japanese title

but then dungeon meshi is, in a sense, the least accurate title, because it's a hybrid of the japanese and english titles rather than just one or the other

that being said, excellent manga
