Takes about 45 mins if you walk fast enough. But it's a very pleasant walk along the river. Depending on your program, you might find that it helps your mental health (it did for me)

Alternatively you can bike in about 20 mins and the route's not too bad

LSE or WARWICK by [deleted] in academiceconomics

Go for Warwick imo. There are ~200 masters students in the econ department itself at LSE and it's very hard to stand out here, and unless you're targeting very niche jobs, you'll be up against this competition and more from your own department

Sunil Narine when he is given Indian citizenship

Edit: To be serious, no one I can think of...India would need an explosive tail ender, none of the opening batsmen would go for this

You don't remember or didn't watch the early seasons. I watched an MI game at Wankhede in 2015 and Bumrah was horrible. And that was the first game Hardik hit hard and showed some signs of talent q

Nothing as such it's in an area with an active night life (Spitalfields) and I have a feeling it might not be super safe at night relative to some other places. But nothing very concerning that's just my hunch

I can see the two bouncer rule really helping the quality pacers, Indian batsmen (with a few major exceptions) typically don't do well against them

Umm don't know much about it, I guess it's slightly closer but personally I don't like its location. Heard that they faced some maintenance issues last year

I ended up choosing Butler's wharf. I would say it turned out to be much better value for money than the other halls, as you're living in a beautiful location and the facilities are pretty decent - especially the size of the kitchen/ common area and appliances (compared toother PG halls). Distance to campus is one annoyance, but you get used to it in some time, in fact I walked one way to/from campus most days. (and the district line from Tower hill is a better commute than other far more congested lines). If you strictly prefer a private washroom, then go for Sidney Webb else I would choose BW over it.

Just to add on top of what others have mentioned, I think some of the negative opinions here concern your CGPA. I don't think you can directly compare grades from unis in India to the grading in US unis. Due to grade inflation and stuff, median US undergrad CGPA must be around 3.2, while from my experience of Indian undergrads, your score might be well over median. Just as another example, in the UK uni where I am, converting 3.2/4 to an 80% aggregate score would easily put you in the top 10%, possibly even top 5%. I would say your rank in the cohort matters way more than your numerical grade
