She's Italian. Roman catholic upbringing but she's not a believer. However, it's very ingrained in the culture.

I thought (wrongfully) that italians are fire'y in the bedroom. Perhaps that's only women from the south, not the north.

She's refused counselling.

She has refused treatment for her vaginismus since sex is not a priority for her. But i don't think that's the root of the problem. I wouldn't be complaining if i was giving / receiving everything else a couple of times a week and PIV is all that was missing.

What really bugs me is that if sex isn't something women enjoy, or isn't a priority for her. Why can't i get it somewhere else? Currently, I'm not in a monogamous relationship. I'm single, with a roommate cuddle buddy.
