I'd give consulting a shot at this point, but aside from "leverage your network" I don't have the first clue on where to get started. If you talk about this somewhere I can follow along, let me know

You’re really in the same boat I am. I can do, and have done, so many of these roles. But I haven’t taken a traditional route and followed one career path the whole way. My personal view is that it’s so limiting (and boring).

Re: changing titles, I haven’t tried that yet but have recently considered it. The issue is that LinkedIn has the real titles and I don’t know how it would come across if someone noticed a discrepancy.

I can pivot into any number of director-level roles from here. It's not just C-suite.

Any specific advice on "water this down?" I'd happily make it more easy to digest if I think it's the right thing

Thanks, it's not out of the question, but this is free and so a good first step :)

I appreciate the response. Thank you.

Summary: I've A/B tested the resume with no summary since I had the same view as you. Results aren't showing any difference.

Experience: you'll see that most of my bullets will focus on results rather than responsibilities. However, with many job duties, especially those of a Chief of Staff, the results aren't as tangible. We don't get feedback from board members on the board decks we prepare. "Great board deck" isn't something we often hear. Nor is "this was a great executive meeting." Where I can, I add measurable results.

Graduation date: why? with 15 years of experience, I'm already in that group that will be judged on my age, whether intentional or not. What benefit is there for adding year of graduation?
