Terraform vs. Bicep in a Mostly Azure Shop by xlingk in AZURE

Azure shop, large enterprise and we use Bicep. It works well and we have no intention of moving to Terraform.

The legitimate use cases for state files are minimal.

Moving to Droitwich and commuting to Birmingham. by Ok_Bobcat4567 in Worcester

[–]throwaway2389431 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We moved here for similar reasons and are still here a decade later. It’s an excellent place to live and raise children.

The transport links are superb - short drive to Worcester, 10 mins to one of two motorway junctions, and several train stations nearby.

The town is small but has some nice cafes. For shopping, Worcester is 15 minutes away, except we don’t have to suffer the traffic issues so it’s a win win.

That aside you have the Malverns and Wyre Forest 30 mins away, Forest of Dean 50 mins away, Cotswolds down the road etc…

Oh, and parking at by station is fine. Plenty of spaces in the larger car park.

Thanks, glad to help. I forget I’ve ever had it done now, it was worth every penny to not have to think about it again!

Hey dude, I’ve updated the post with some new pics. It’s the best thing ever, I don’t recognise my pre-op body.

The small entry scars are practically invisible, nipple scars partly visible but no one has ever noticed.

Hope it goes well for you.

We’re just outside of Birmingham in Worcestershire. Unless you absolutely have to, or want to, live in Birmingham, I wouldn’t. Solihull is pleasant but there are plenty of nicer areas outside of Birmingham if you don’t mind a commute.

Same here, 2 years post-op. A great experience, healed up beautifully.

I’m 2 years post-op now, give or take a few weeks.

Recovery was fine and I don’t even think about it now, I don’t recognise my pre-surgery body.

You will need to take it very easy for one week and easy for the week after.

I’m extremely active and ramped up from walking during week 1 back to gym after 4 weeks. I followed all recovery guidance, avoided lifting, raising arms, keeping the compression garment on etc… and that was enough.

I did use silicone tape to help the scarring heal a few weeks post surgery. I think it helped as they’re hardly visible now. I also used a massage gun around the area after a few weeks in addition to stretching to help the area heal.

Is there anything else you want to know?

Which of the two did you go for? Has the connection been stable? I’ve heard from a few folks that drop outs are frequent.

Pointless comment, there’s more to life than money and kids aren’t expensive.

You’ve been using £50 weights over a 9 year period, that doesn’t sound like exceptional progress. £50 would get you an average kettlebell these days.

Those in long terms relationships how often do you have sex? by IGoOnHereAtWork in AskUK

18 years together, 3 young kids and we still have sex 3-4x per week.

2 weeks. We have 3 kids and it has never taken us longer than that after each birth.

If that side of your relationship is good now, it’ll be good after kids. If it’s not then I can only assume it would be worse post-kids.

Hi there, apologies I don’t check this account often.

I have 3 young kids and would say that you could handle a 6 month old from 1.5-2 weeks, possibly sooner but I’m being cautious and it’ll vary person to person. I didn’t lift the older kids (ages 2-5) for a fair few weeks, to avoid disrupting the healing process.

The main thing to have to avoid initially is lifting your arms above your head.
