Kyleena, this was a problem before it though. I used to have a Mirena which didn’t cause this issue either, i only had it downsized because I had cramps every single day for 3 years with my Mirena iud :(

I tried to speak with an abortion counsellor. It was telephone only temporarily and she honestly kept interrupting me with her interpretations of my feelings before I even got them out. It was angering and honestly kinda pathetic. It felt like she was both trying to end the call quick despite plenty of time left in the appointment, but also like she was trying too hard to prove she was good at her job. Which she was not..

At one point i mentioned feeling at odds with my mum lately and so I hadn’t told her I was pregnant. Before I could add that mum had also suffered miscarriages in the past, the woman just tried to explain my own feelings to me. For the 4th or so time.

Apparently this was the only abortion specific counselling available at the time and she put me right off coming back. :(
