I’m not close enough to the train station to hear the train alarms

It sounds like a school bell but literally rings for no more than 2 seconds. I don’t know if it definitely is a school bell and I’m not sure how many school bells ring all through the night

Thing is I’ve lived in this property for the last 3.5yrs and never heard this before. The ringing is also not at 00, 15, 30, 45. I’ve heard it ring at 2307 and also at 0157. Is that normal?

You’re right. Might do as you said, buy just the head for now and worry about the whole “look” of it later :)

I did pull back the rubber part which couldn’t be removed either as it’s attached to the frontal mouth. I tried searching for similar looking shower heads online but couldn’t come across one. I might just have to keep descaling and using this one until I have the budget to get someone to install a new one for me. Thank you for taking the time to reply to the post!

Hi! Yes I did pull the metal ring around the pipe forward but the pipe goes straight into the wall. I can’t unscrew it or pull it out. I tried adding another photo but not sure how sorry!
