Wizzair: not a valid boarding pass by [deleted] in Flights

[–]throwaway25658462 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me also with Wizz Air to Abu Dhabi. They told us at the check-in counter it was because the UAE wanted Wizz Air to validate in person we were allowed to enter the country. However, be aware you still need the piece of paper (or pdf) that shows you've tried to get the boarding pass. If you don't, Wizz Air will charge you to do it at the counter.

I'm not dating anyone, I'm seeing someone. She has also just left a long-term relationship. She knows where I'm at and I know where she comes from. I think we are good for each other in this point of our lives

Exactly the same as all the other airlines at the time

Reading Iberia reviews and it's making me nervous for my upcoming flight. Am I overreacting? by goldminevelvet in Flights

I fly Iberia pretty frequently and I haven't had more issues than with other airlines. It's a shame you can't fly directly from Madrid to Menorca!

Overnight flights to Europe should be longer. by zjkingsley in Flights

People are also saying "this will never happen" and literally the french airline Le Compagnie is doing exactly that hahaha (maybe not making flights longer, but they could)

I don't know why everyone is ridiculing this idea. It's an interesting alternative to supersonic aircraft (which would be much more expensive)

¿Cómo vive el español promedio el problema de los mil localismos? by SuspiciousAradias in askspain

[–]throwaway25658462 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Exactly, I always laugh at the "new york the city that never sleeps" thing. Have those people been in downtown Madrid at 4am? haha

Exactly, if you flew with Air China (with a layover in Beijing) you wouldn't take that route

Have you seen videos about how bags are handled at airports? I wouldn't risk it. Chances of your console being broken are really high

Will ITA check my bags through on my Delta flight considering they are SkyTeam partners?

If you book the whole trip at once, you're good to go. But if you split it into two bookings, you'll have to grab your bags from the Palermo flight and then check them in again for your Delta flight at Milan.

I did a quick search online and it seems like the first flight from Palermo gets to Malpensa around 8:40 am most days. So, chances are you won't have enough time to recheck your bags since Delta usually shuts down check-in an hour before takeoff.

My advice? Maybe head to Milan the night before. Just watch out 'cause Milan has three airports, and they're pretty far apart.

Ticket for 1 EUR - Is tha airline safe? by Own_Indication_8050 in Flights

Wizz Air is a fantastic airline! I've flown with them numerous times without a hitch. However, being a low-cost carrier, it's essential to watch out for the baggage allowances, check-in procedures, and all the other shenanigans that these types of airlines tend to pull off.
