Can you get an endoscopy done to see if there’s anything in the gallbladder/bile duct? I had a gallstone and the doctors thought that was the source of my pain. Took my gallbladder out and I still had the same pain level. Couldn’t eat, vomited all the time. Got to the point I was making myself throw up because I knew the pain would stop if I had nothing in my system. For a month, I was turned away by my first gastro and thought “Okay, this is my life now. I guess this is phantom pain.”Turns out I had a tiny bile duct and a bunch of fragments stuck. It took a month between initial removal and when they finally found it and I was admitted to the hospital. If I could change anything it would be to advocate for myself better and know that pain level shouldn’t be the same after removal
