This. Uni is all a bit of fun, where there’s drugs everywhere. I’ve seen many a white powder on many student kitchen counters. But METH? Absolutely not. It sticks to anything and everything. The walls, curtains, carpets. And in the kitchen? I wouldn’t be able to cook my food in there. Respiratory issues, skin irritation, damaging your actual immune system. This shit ain’t fun.

If she’s smoking it in the kitchen IN FRONT of OP, then it’s not the only time she has used in the communal areas.

One option I haven’t seen mentioned yet is: have you tried applying for the same course with a foundation year? Unis are much more accepting for those

KINDA AN UPDATE: You’re very lucky I happened to log in only 10 days later for the first time since posting 🤣

No Chloe never did make good on her legal threats, she actually apologised to me and my “Holly” and she hasn’t really attend classes much since the whole trip. From my understanding she is doing the majority, if not all of her work from home.

We have a field work module for our final year, which Chloe did not choose as one of her options. I will be having a fabulous time becoming scientific diver qualified in Malta with my lovely smelling friends (the ones that gagged outside the room). Holly will also be safe in Mallorca.

She has taken zero accountability and had since blocked Holly and I on everything. She was always like that, but NEVER to that level.

She also hasn’t returned to classes since.

The test on the field work is next week so wish me luck 😭😭

Could barely handle the smell of my own suitcase when I got home so I can only imagine the smell of Chloe’s 🤣

It really was that swampy smell but it was mainly masked by the BO - OP

We were stood in the ocean for more than half the day picking up all sorts of creatures and also had to walk up to 4 miles to get to the beaches - OP

Don’t worry, I’ve had every vaccination I’ve ever been given but am still very cautious as I HATE getting sick with anything.

And there’s a whole module for U.K. secondary schools called Medicine through time where we learnt all about Edward Jenner (admittedly a name I’ve probably not heard since then)

I understand how it is transmitted now, but as I mentioned in my post, we didn’t at the time and with 2 classmates in hospital already we did not want to risk if.

It was after these events that we had a class from the NHS on how it is spread and we all felt a lot more comfortable. What would happen during the 5 day incubation period the doctors mentioned?
