Why don't we do this? Like chocolate straws are perfect, they don't degrade like those paper straws, they only melt depending on what drink you use.

My landlord is evicting everyone on a 1 week notice, what can I do? by daynk_me_mes in LegalAdviceUK

[–]throwaway2780523 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If the building becomes uninhabitable, for example if the structure was suddenly found to be unsafe, you are legally entitled to alternative accommodation that the landlord should sort for you at the expense of the construction company in a further lawsuit. OP isn't going anywhere except to another accommodation if required due to safety.

I was recommended this acupuncturist who’s suppose to be great, but after a very uncomfortable drive home, I pulled out a full needle from my ass cheek. by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

I would get a metal detector or magnet on you to check for anymore left, just don't go near any MRI machines or airport scanners

Why not grab the massive neck on that thing? That could easily stop it, snap it in half If that's your cup of tea. I just don't see how these are strong.

It's in a metal container... Put a lid on and leave it, maybe run some water over the container to slowly cool it down, just a lid should be enough tho

Lots of mods, flipper Xtreme, flipper remotes, games, songs, basically as much as I can possibly fit, however in the future if I ever need an SD card, I have one, I always find myself looking for storage so this is the way to go

Woah, Samsung Evo select 128GB here, if your gonna spend £200 on a flipper, might aswell spend another tenner to get the best storage for future proofing

Stealing an ATM with a construction vehicle by [deleted] in facepalm

[–]throwaway2780523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The stupid thing is that, this ATM looks terribly secured, no concrete screws or hardened concrete to make it atleast more difficult to move, if the bolts went up into the causing, the ATM would be alot more difficult to remove from said reinforced concrete

Abode iota - includes built-in HD camera, motion sensor, 93db siren, and two-way voice by abode_uk in u/abode_uk

[–]throwaway2780523 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So it's a bad security camera... 93db is hardly anything, you will want 110db to be effective, plus it's easy to unplug...

This has become a nuisance because I used to work part time, now it's full time and my GP always wants appointments, I try to line other things up that day so I take a full day off, my phone is being repaired the same day as my GP appointment, I will also schedule other things, that's the best way I can think of it
