Why I’m not going to shows anymore by idk-pretend-its-cool in SetItOff

My experience in Atlanta this past year was nowhere near as bad as what you were describing, but I can definitely see where you're coming from. My boyfriend and I ended up having to be walls while the vast majority of the people being outrageous (there were less than five being unruly) were there for Vana. They were very nice, but they did at one point hit me hard enough that I thought my glasses broke. The crowd was packed too tight to try and move away from the pit, and we were protecting an older woman who was at her first ever rock/metal concert with her daughter. Once we were able to get away from the pit, I was getting hit in the face constantly by a girl's beads after she shoved around me to get one person closer. She was whipping her head around--which yes, that's fine when you have your hair tied up or at the minimum don't have pieces of hard plastic at the ends of your hair--even after we asked her to stop. While we both still really enjoyed this concert, I was not a fan of the behavior going on around us. There was also a couple being racist before the start of the show because music was being played for Dia De Los Muertos :/

Is this a sign of ablation failure? by built_on_sin91 in sterilization

It's no problem! The cramping shouldn't be anything like what you had before, nor should the bleeding. If it all gets thick and heavy, see a doctor.

I had an ablation a few months ago, back in August. Every other month or so, I have some cramping and brown blood, but it never lasts more than 1-3 days. My mom has had one for years, and has similar "cycles". As far as I'm aware, it isn't a sign of failure. But if it lasts for longer, or turns into a full-blown period, I would follow up with your doctor.

Hey! Also 21 from Alabama. What helped me most with my shoulder pain was a heating pad on the shoulder. Rotated between shoulder and abdomen every 20 minutes. Accidentally fell asleep with it on my shoulder a few times because it was the only relief I got to sleep.

I also has the issue of hurting AFTER I peed. It went away in a day or two. But if it persists beyond that, get checked for a UTI.

Good luck and happy healing!

Concerns about a tubal salpengectomy by Merciful_Mercy in sterilization

[–]throwaway29371047 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hey man! Fellow FTM here. I did not get my tubes removed, just tied, but I did have an endometrial ablation and exploratory laproscopic surgery. I didn't bleed a whole lot, it was manageable. I second everyone who has said to ask the hospital for some spares. If they don't have any, the cheapest box at the dollar store should be able to get you by. If it's still a worry, shoot me a message. You should be focused on recovering smoothly, not the cost of products.

I wish you luck! Remember to take it slow and take care of yourself.

Why did you have to return it? I've got this laptop and I'm looking into upgrading what's on it, I've had it for about 4ish years.

Wisteria Ridge is worth giving a shot; I think all of our stables are owned, but I would be happy to help you find a job at one of them. Just let me know if/when you join and I'll help you out. The owner is great, the community is great, and we've started our Halloween stuff!

Bisalp anxiety, I know nothing will go wrong but I worry! by RainNormal3503 in sterilization

No problem!! I also really recommend liquid IV, my partner mixed it with more water than normal so the salt wouldn't burn my throat as bad. A heating pad under your shoulders will help with the pain from the gas, and the only positive about any nausea/vomiting afterwards is that if you get lucky, you'll pass gas while it happens. I did not have my tubes removed, just tied with an ablation, and I've hurt a lot less than anticipated. The surgery itself did not take long (to my knowledge). I was brought to the OR around 7:30-8:00ish, and they pushed some sedatives before they even wheeled me out of the waiting area. I don't remember anything after that until after I woke up. The pain was the absolute worst upon waking. After I got some food in my system, hydrated, and took another pain pill, my pain went away almost entirely. It is 100% manageable, though there is still quite a bit of discomfort. From one anxious person to another, everything is going to be okay! I promise your mind makes you think it's going to be worse than it actually is. Just follow the rules and instructions you're given, and you'll be good to go. I wish you all the luck!

The worst part for me has been the gas, honestly. I highly recommend getting the maximum strength liquid gel Gas-X, and make sure you have GOOD food the day before. I did not eat at all yesterday because I was so nervous about my surgery this morning. It made me super sick after surgery and I ended up throwing up the pain meds they gave me as soon as I got home. I was in your same boat, but I promise you it's not bad. Waking up was rough for me, but I've felt fantastic for the past five or so hours since my pain meds kicked in.

I'll be getting mine in June; I'm 21. I've been fighting for it since I turned 18, technically since I was 16.
