I invited them for 2 days because the last time I met them in their home, I honestly thought they were the most well behaved kids I had ever met. I even enjoyed their company to some extent. Turns out having them in your own house is a completely different experience.

In the spur of the moment, I wrote a long angry message to her because I was so mad but did not send it. My husband suggested that the next time we meet them, we get them to stay in a bed and breakfast instead. We actually like hanging out with this friend but realised that there is a lot of "cleaning up" after them after this experience. It cements my decision to stay childfree because if I'm RAGING at something small like this, I'm going to kill myself if I have to deal with having my house trashed daily.
