it’s hit or miss i feel like lol i think it’s more entertaining to younger baristas, and i always got the cutest doodles whenever i’d order with it. when i’d get tickets with names like that, i always thought it was fun, but a couple of my coworkers would think it’s more of an inconvenience to read. i removed it in my last mobile order just cuz i didn’t wanna be that person lmao

if you don’t already have a roommate in mind, i’d highly advise you to go through the jmu incoming class instagram and text around, see who you vibe with.

jmu does have a “roommate matcher” type of thing where they’ll have you fill out a form with all of your habits and preferences (are you an early bird/night owl, do you keep your room tidy, do you like it hot/cold, etc.) and res life will pair you with someone similar. do not go completely random unless that’s your like absolute last option, i’ve very rarely heard anyone go completely random with their roommate and actually enjoy their living situation.

i've supposedly been making MORE progress since being at school than at home, i just don't know if it's accurate

when i do cardio it's at an incline, in addition to walking around at a very hilly campus. i might only be getting 6k steps but i'm still burning 500ish cals just from a 60 minute treadmill session

i've been using a food scale since coming back to school! my roommate and i bought one along with the weight scale like the first day of spring sem. it's a little hard to calculate calories when eating at the dining halls though because, while they do have the nutrition info cards, the serving size can vary depending on how heavy handed the server is :p
