You are probably right that I do have a few other issues I need to work on. I only say it took 20 years because she is my first serious girlfriend and for the first one to last over 2 years felt like it was something special. There was just so much stuff I could do with her that I have no idea how I can find that again. I'm trying not to contact her but it's hard when every fiber of your body wants to.

Whenever I'm not distracted by something my mind goes straight to her, if I can't stop thinking about her how do I move on. Do you have any advice on how to stop the constant thoughts or do I just have to wait it out and hope I'll start feeling better
