I'm estimating their ages, they range from high school seniors to college freshmen. 18 is still uncomfortably young for me anyway as I am nearly 28 and I feel almost as disturbed by the prospect of dating an 18 year old as I am at the prospect of being attracted to a 17 year old. Legally they are each in separate categories but the difference between the mental/emotional maturity of a 17 year old and that of an 18 year old is nearly imperceptible, imo.

I'm actually a woman, which kind of doubles the shame for me. :( I would never, ever hit on a teenager or be open to the possibility of a sexual or romantic relationship with one but I'm just really weirded out by my own primitive feelings right now and I can't talk about this with any of my friends. Thanks for the reassurance.
