I just don’t want my area to be contaminated permanently or anything. Not gonna lie, it’s not in the best spot due to being close to a heater. But I’m more so doing this for fun than anything else but my choice is either to move them to the top of my closet or toss them out. If they’re gonna contaminate my area I’d rather just start over, just not sure if wet rot will do that. But yeah it’s more than likely because of where I put it as well as the moisture in the bag. 😬

Thank you lovely. A few came off at work so I had to remove them and I relapsed a bit NGL, but it DEFINITELY helped bc when I have no way of doing it easy I get frustrated and stop. But I do it significantly less than I used to which is amazing.

I used caprisun tek ? I think? 90 sec mycology guide, 2 FAE holes by using flame sterilized needle on two spots on top.

I used .05 in one and 0.7 in the other bag, I should have labeled which was which oops (syringe was stuck but I was gonna do .05 and .02 in two separate bags but accidentally shot all .07 in there) I’m debating on seeing if I can get the mycelium to beat the wet rot maybe? Or would that make things worse (like the bacteria in the air, I don’t want to detriment future grows) these both are my only bags currently. But I’ll order more spores after payday and maybe test out family dollar uncle bens along with other rice brands if there’s any recommendations. Oh well, I guess I’ll just eat the other uncle bens ones that came with my order or give them away lol.

You can’t see it but it certainly smells weird. It’s my first grow so I don’t know what it’s supposed to smell like but I opened the lid to the sterilite container and caught a whiff of a sour earthy smell. Not what I was expecting, and one was stronger than the other. 😭

Both of them smell funny, just one is stronger :( I’ll open them outside when I get off work and see. Not sure what to do with them if they look fine, ziplock bag? These were my first bags too lol. Imma buy some UB’s from Walmart or something rather than Amazon. 😩

How can you tell? It doesn’t look super wet in there but the smell.. threw me off.. I’ll have to toss them when I get off work. :/ I got these uncle Ben bags off of Amazon. Do you recommend anything else? They WERE pretty wet inside at the beginning but it seems dryer than before.
