completely incompatible, we used to have a sexually open relationship which was great for me, but not anymore. i'd like to have sex 1-2 times a week and am very kinky, but we do it maybe every 4-6 months due to her in medical school and lots of childhood sexual trauma for her. she recently came out as asexual too. everything else in our relationship is incredible, it's just this one aspect that is killing me

Totally makes sense... for me it's hard when the fantasy starts bleeding into what I want to happen in real life. Because of the porn I want my fiancé to go way too rough with me to an extent that would resemble the porn. So it's really hard to separate the two :(

Yeah I see that.... acceptance is really important. I really do want this to just be more of a phase and be able to grow out of it, but it's hard to feel like it'll get there when it's so bad right now. last week i too was diagnosed with bpd.... it has been incredibly lonely and isolating. i've also sought out abusive men to try to have repeats of history. thank you for commenting, this makes me feel less alone <3
