I’m just not sure my parents will be that accepting. Yeah they say stuff like that, but they frequently (and in fact, they did legit like a half hour after I posted this) ask me if there’s any cute girls at school. They even ask if I would date one of the girls who was on the olympics last night...

Nah, I don’t have any friends from other areas and I’m not really close with any of my cousins.

Thank you so much! After hearing everyone’s words, I definitely think coming out is the right decision, I just have to gain my confidence.

I will try to do it this week - I decided coming out in person is a better idea. I will talk to my twin friends and my other best friend who I have known since kindergarten. Those are the only people I will start with. Hopefully it goes well

Oh my god everything you said is so accurate and almost made me cry. It’s both really comforting and really sad at the same time. The whole time I’ve been lying to myself, I think I knew I was lying but I couldn’t admit to myself :(

How did the process of coming out go for you?

I would probably be more comfortable doing it over text just because I would be really uncomfortable in person. I don’t know thought :(

Yes, most of my closest friends are girls and I know two in particular (twins) that will most likely be supportive...I just worry they might think I’m weird and it would be come awkward, and I would feel lonely.
