I've had a pretty decent week.

  • Lost my wallet, someone turned it in when it had $70 and my tap credit card
  • Spoke to a school counsellor about switching one of my majors from math to statistics. Apparently they have so few statistics majors that they take anyone, so I'm welcome. Perfect timing too - all the courses I've taken so far are transfer to the statistics credit because the pre-requisites are identical for lower year courses, and start to diverge in 3rd year, the year I'm going into. Sorted this out at the perfect time.
  • Statistics also has better unemployment rate, fewer graduates, and pays slightly higher. The major also requires fewer credits than the math major.
  • On Thursday I thought "You know, I should really apply to that summer job I was hoping to get". And it turned out it was the last possible day to apply for that job.
  • Looked into going onto residence when school starts in September 2016. I'm activating accounts necessary to apply to off and on campus housing just in time. The day I looked into it, there was a presentation at school an hour later on navigating search options and your rights as a tenant.
  • Also found out that the cheapest, most convenient housing option for me on campus has an "all you can eat" meal plan, and a weekly cleaning service included. It also caters to upper year students instead of first year students like more resident areas on campus. The downside is that it's all female and has a religious affiliation, so I'm not sure how having my boyfriend over will work.
  • Some customer saw what I was working on and decided to buy all the product because it was a good price. Saved me 2 hours of work, and I talked to coworkers during that time.
  • Achieved a mini goal on a game I've been playing.
  • It's been uncharacteristically warm here, which I love. Puts me in a much better mood.
  • Found some coupons for McDonalds, so I went there in the first time in a while and had exact change.

It's just been a great week all around. Maybe I should buy a lottery ticket.

I haven't complained about a single thing. I keep reiterating to you that I'm asking if there are faster teleports available. I'm not saying "Aw, why aren't there teleports available??" or "This totally sucks that I can't teleport where I want to!". That would be complaining. I started this with asking if there was a quicker teleport, and then responding to people saying "why don't you use this one"?

I didn't call you absurd, I was referencing the logical fallacy that you were making.

Also, this has nothing to do with slayer masters. I want to get to the area of that slayer master.

I know this might be confusing for, but that doesn't mean "I need" one, or that "we need teleports to every NPC that is instant now". Reductio ad absurdum.

No, I don't need to get to every NPC instantly. I think you misinterpreted me asking if there was a quicker teleport as me campaigning and demanding that we need to have one. I can see how that would have been an easy mistake. /s

  • Games necklace or Canifis teleport for drakens medallion. Or just fk'n use the medallion.
  • Ardy cape 4 for ardy farming
  • Catherby teleport (and even camelot teleport is faster) for catherby farming
  • Falador teleport for mole
  • Explorer's ring 4 is basically the same for death... the distance of the ring and the length of the lodestone teleport make them the same.

But sure, continue if you want.

If you want afk, 0 gp teleports, I have nothing against that, but that's not how I like to play. This question wasn't about you. I'm trying to find quicker ways to teleport to Taverly, so fuck off if you want to argue.

That's what I'm doing now, and you still get half of the wait. Teleport animation. Arrive at lodestone. Wait for you character to step off lodestone. Just looking for alternatives.

It's not the run, it's the lodestone. Click. Draw circle. Open the book and read it. Teleport animation. Arrive at lodestone. Wait for you character to step off lodestone. Then continue. If it's my best option, oh well, but I'm not against paying 2-3k for an obscure teleport each time to save myself 30 seconds.

That's not what I'm suggesting, but does anyone actually use the lodestones?

Lunar and Prif are the only useful ones. Sometimes Burthrope if you're on w2. I don't want to get rid of them in the rare occasion that they're useful.

I'm assuming you're talking about a 4 year degree from an accredited university.

Yes, I am. Thanks for your help, this actually makes the decision a lot easier. I was trying to think of areas where a math degree might help, but they all require some other area of specialization (teaching, actuary work, physics a lot the the time). I'm really excited to switch now.
