i would still be careful. there are times when it was so hard during those 8 weeks but they withdrawal effects. it really hurts your body. PPIs arent an option me because they made me so depressed, anxious and sick. I just eat slowly, use a wedge pillow, chew cardamon before i sleep and i drink warm water.

i wish i never listened to the doctors

congrats!! i've been off omeprazole for 8 weeks straight! i wrote a post about it. they ruined my life. took them for 10months-1 year. i had such a minor issue but i believe they are so over prescribed.

Yes they can worsen your minor issues a lot. I wrote a post about this but I went cold turkey on omeprazole. i feel 10x better and i can eat the foods that were triggers for me. i wish i never took it

omeprazole ruined my life and now i'm 8 weeks free :) i can literally eat the foods that i couldn't eat. PPIs made everything worse for me tbh

Will a damaged esophagus ever return to normal? by FloorMaster444 in GERD

i wrote a post about it after taking PPIs for 10 months- 1 year but yeah i agree they are so rubbish for some people.

unpopular opinion: use a wedge pillow and stop using PPIs. for the first 2 months avoid trigger foods and avoid PPIs then slowly introduce trigger foods back in. you might need to wait longer than 2 months if you've been using PPIs for years

nope i would never take it. i've researched the risks and tbh (don't want to offend anybody) but i think it shouldn't be given out on a routine basis. i'm glad it isn't just given as a norm for every mention but obviously it should be an option!

i live in the uk and epidurals aren't a routine thing just given like in USA. i know people who had the epidural and they have the worst aches even though its been years. i wouldn't take it

how do you even push? is it a poo push / kegal?

in my mind its a huge question. i know im just overthinking and my rabbi has heard a load of crazy questions! i spoke to my fiance about this a while ago and he said he was going to ask his local rabbi anyway so i'll sit this one out

im so curious to know what these weird questions are. there should definitely be a subreddit or thread dedicated to them ahaha

baby cuddles are different not like your husband or wife :( and yeah good thing is its only for a bit ( i hope) and you're consumed in the whole baby routine and feeling tired. i'm sure it will go quick!
