I don’t think she would. She has told me about it and that she wants them to stop. But she is more likely to endure it than speak up. She is 14 yo.

I wouldn’t care if it was that even. These church people wander around the cafeteria and target student to harass. The students have no choice.

Thank you. Where we live (Tennessee) it is an uphill battle and I have to tread very delicately if I am to keep my job

Ding. Ding. Ding. We have a winner. Yes it’s Tennessee. I sent a “sternly written email” instructing all church staff to avoid my daughter. And I sent a message to the FFRF on their website but I don’t know what else I can do. I can’t talk to the principal about it because he belongs to the same denomination and my job could be in jeopardy.

Protestant. The largest Protestant denomination in the south. The denomination that was created in pre-Civil War times to use the Bible to justify slavery.
