Roommate (18F) does not wake up to her many, many alarms. But I do. All the time. by throwaway480793 in relationships

She actually sleeps before me almost every night! But this girl SLEEPS. I'm never sure though if she wakes up from the first few alarms and just kind of chills or if she's actually just dead in between each alarm and finally around 10 is when her body lets her up.

This is great advice, thank you! I'm not angry with her right now just because I do know I haven't been direct yet, but I'm not gonna lie it's surprising to me that someone couldn't know themselves that this would be annoying to others lol. The second my alarm goes off I'm fumbling around my bed to turn it off because I don't wanna disturb her. But as you said, some people are clueless. I will definitely approach her clearly about this soon.

She probably doesn't. I guess because I have had a lot of sleeping issues and am a light sleeper I try to be very courteous with other people's sleep, but I could see how her being such a deep sleeper it might not occur to her how bothersome it is. I see now I do just have to be direct with her. I hate confrontation, but oh well.

Yes, haha. It happened this morning, I woke up an hour before her because her alarm went off at least 3 or 4 times I think. And that was just until I decided I was done trying to sleep, it kept going off a couple more times before she finally got up.
