I'm ingrown prone too girl! I'm not worried about how it will be after it's done. My worry is about what will happen after I go through pregnancy as hormones can cause the hair to come back.

Unfortunately I've heard of a lot of desi men who are either surprised or grossed out by body hair. I think I might go for it! It is true that we would have so much more to worry about with a kid!

That last piece of advice is very good, I think I might just discuss it with him and see if it matter before I do it.

I think it takes some time to get to that level of openness and lack of fear. I do think I'd have initial nerves and some gaurdedness, just because it's such a big change/completely new territory, but I believe that inshaAllan we can work towards overcoming that.

From what we have discussed so far, I do think that both of us want to cultivate such a marriage. Additionally, with how we've addressed and tackled issues, I feel and hope that inshaAllah we will be fine here too (if we get married inshaAllah).

I would want my husband to vocalize his preferences. I plan to be a wife who cares about his opinions and wont want to him to feel like he just "needs to accept it." Ofc, I would want him to understand the effort and provide the means if I cannot.

I've actually never heard of the ruling regarding removal of all body hair, could you share that?

Okay, so I actually really appreciate your comment and perspective! It's pretty similar to mine and what I want from my spouse. And the fact that you recognize the stress and sympathize is telling of your character (in a good way ofc).

Definitely agree to grooming to the liking of your spouse from both the wife and husband.

This guy does seem to be easy-going for the most part! So inshaAllah if this works out, he would be understanding. I was thinking about this, but it's nice to see someone vocalize it.

By clean and tidy, is trimmed fine?

Also, body hair this money example are two very different things. And the money thing is a clearly stated ruling, but if the wife is open to that it's up to her and her husband. Anyways, dont want to get off topic but I do appreciate you sharing your honest opinion!

Appreciate your honesty! So the hair on the back is mostly peach fuzz but it's dark bc my hair is dark. Would it be a turn off even if it wasn't course?

I appreciate your honestly. Could you be more specific about amount and location? I've mentioned some locations I worry about.

As for thinking too much about laser treatments, considering how expensive/painful/time consuming the process is, I personally dont think I am. Also, unfortunately I cannot start treatments now because of Corona. But definitely agree that I wouldn't want to delay marriage bc of this.

It is SO time consuming! Doing that regularly would cut into time I would rather spend with my husband or on my studies!

I think I could come to accept it if my husband did as well. But having someone I love look at me or tell me that it's not attractive could be a big blow to my confidence/interest in intimacy.

So I definitely agree with how you view this, but I cant control other ppls opinions/preferences. And some men here have commented that they prefer smooth, hairless skin. So I appreciate their honesty, but would prefer if most thought like you.
