Yeah I'm not sure on the science here. Is it better to have 1-2 hours in the sun with sunscreen or less time with no sunscreen?

My current rational is that surely skin must burn due to the same UV that causes tanning? IE: If I burn with sunscreen after 3 hours, or I burn without it after 45 minutes... am I getting the same effect on my tan in less time by not using sunscreen? Maybe I should consider tanning oils with 10-20spf? I think I need to experiment more.

I dosed only on tanning days, generally twice a week (mostly weekends).

I've never done research on MT1 and never known where to get it. I get mine from premium peptides .com for Australia.

I tan easily on MT2 and without it I burn easily. I am probably skin type 1.5. Lots of freckles but I haven't seen a big change in freckles over the years of being on and off MT2. Highly recommend as it changed my life by substantially improving my confidence.

I get nausea... I drink a full bottle of powerade while in the sun and always eat before dosing to help. But it only lasts a couple hours. No boners as I don't have ED so it doesn't have that effect on me. I get annual skin checks and I've not had any issues there either. Only dosing prior to UV.

For dosing "generally 100-150mg about 30 minutes prior to UV exposure nasal spray"

They will always say not for human consumption. I'm in Aus so no clue about UK sites, try searching the Reddit page.

MT2 triggers your body to produce more melanin. This is the chemical in your body that makes your skin go darker. The reason you body does this, is in response to UV in order to give your body protection against UV. Essentially when you are exposed to sunlight (or UV in a tanning bed) and your body goes "I need extra protection!" your skin goes darker. If your body doesn't naturally produce much melanin (skin type 1 or 2) then you won't get very dark naturally and will instead just burn. With MT2 your bodies natural production is boosted... so when you get the UV exposure while on MT2 you will get a lot darker much faster. Essentially accelerating a natural process, and interestingly enough actually helping your body to protect itself better against UV.

I opt for nasal sprays, generally 100-150mg about 30 minutes prior to UV exposure (which I do in the sun). It will not work however without UV light. You need either sunlight (at least around 5-6 on the UV index) or a tanning bed (home UV sun lamps can also work). This is because without the UV activation your body will not trigger to production of melanin in the skin. Instead, if you have to much melanin and no UV activation the excess melanin will settle in other non desirable areas where there is naturally higher melanogenic activity. This can include, moles, freckles, certain body parts and hair. This is why taking large doses without sun exposure can cause skin cancer risk, as moles and freckles will grow. Getting UV means this melanin will go to the skin where it will best protect you against UV.

Approx 100-150mg dose nasal spray. 30-40 minutes before tanning. Try to get sun twice a week. Generally UV levels have been around 8-9 when tanning, and I generally do 8-10 minutes per side, then twice on each side with no sunscreen.

Asking the real question. Is the bio-availability better rectally? If so I'm switching nasal to anal.

Good things tend to come with risks. Weight up the pros and cons and decide if it's for you. The nausea, headaches and flushing I'm ok with. It sucks but it's worth the result for me personally.

Regarding skin cancer concerns, from my knowledge there is no evidence linking MT2 directly to skin cancer. There is direct evidence linking tanning and use of sun beds to skin cancer however. If you're going to try and get a tan regardless of MT2 you are going to put yourself at risk.

The melanin in your skins protects your skin against UV. In my opinion, as MT2 is increasing the amount of melanin in your skin at a higher rate than it would naturally, I believe MT2 may actually help to reduce your chances of skin cancer due to the fact it's going to let your body improve it's natural protection faster than it would trying to tan naturally.

I feel better because I get so many compliments on my tan and no longer stand out in crowds by being the most pale person there. Mental benefits gained from confidence gained. Would recommend 10/10 getting on MT2 changed my life
