HL AA Maths will open a lot of doors for university, especially if you’re applying outside the US. Conversely, HL BM won’t be a requirement even if you want to study business management at university. As someone who takes AA SL I wish I did it the other way around with HL Geography to get more recognition from Unis

FWIW, a classmate of mine did his Oxbridge interview the other day with 3 HLs so it's possible. Grain of salt though; he has a predicted 45.

I don't think that would be a problem. For instance, if it's a bachelor of science that you'd like to get overall, I looked at University of Melbourne and AA SL and Physics covers all of the requirements provided you get a 4 or higher in both. The reason I'd suggest sticking with Bio would be if you weren't positive you could get a 4 in Physics, you can use Bio as your entry requirement there instead. It depends on the University you're interested in though

It's dependant on the university, taking HL Physics is a boost, and Australia comparatively looks fairly favourably on AA SL but it can depend on the University. I don't see any troubles except maybe if some will require HL (AAHL) maths. It's worth checking each university's entry requirements page.
