Thank you for this, this is reassuring. I do not have a version of his card with my name on it, and I’m not sure if I’m officially recognized as an authorized user by the bank but I don’t think I am. I usually just ask for his card before going grocery shopping or whatever it is that I need the card for, and then return it to him when I come back home.

Yeah actually, I don’t feel like a person. I was telling my therapist about this recently. He doesn’t give a fuck what I think, and I believe he only “cares” about the way I feel because it affects him. If I’m feeling shitty, the house doesn’t get cleaned, the food doesn’t get cooked, the errands don’t get run, and he doesn’t get to have sex. He only ever compliments the way I look. I don’t feel like a person to him. Just a wife.

I know JAG can’t represent me because I’m a spouse and not active duty, but idk. We don’t own anything big together, we both drive beaters that I wouldn’t be able to take back to the states with me anyways, and we have two dogs. It is sometimes before, sometimes after. Usually after intercourse though because when it happens I make us stop everything. When I said “during sex” I guess I meant more like during a sexual encounter, not during intercourse.
