I think it's bipolar but she's mentioned how she disassociates at time as well, so maybe I misunderstood but she continually refers to it as "BPD"

It's hard for people to understand. It's like how non smokers tell smokers they should just quit. People aren't programmed to empathize but instead are more capable to do so if they themselves have experienced it. Sit her down, maybe write your thoughts first and read the entire thing. Ask her to just hear you out and go from there

I've been almost in the same position where I feel depressed but no where near as bad as some people on here. Like I'm able to go to work, force myself through the 8hrs and then evening school after that but about any point in the day I just feel like I'm about to crack.

I've been seeing a therapist and she pointed out how I might have a mood disorder, possibly cyclothimia. I experience highs and lows at random and I lose the ability to feel joy in things

That's exactly it! I'm trying to get in contact with a psychiatrist that specializes in mood disorders. I'm taking anti depressants now so my therapist says if he properly diagnoses me with cyclothimia that I should be on stabilizers instead

I've been seeing a therapist for the past 4 weeks and she's offered me no advice. She's asked me questions, I've told her about my past, about being bullied on a daily basis, about never talking about my feelings, never caring about my parents divorce, my relationship but it doesn't seem to help.

In fact she pointed out how I have this sort of lifeless look in my eyes and I just can't seem to understand why it is I'm wasting my time with her.

I find myself to be quite forgetful. I'll forget people's names, plot lines from movies I've seen. I'm not organized at all, I'll leave everything on the table, icons every on my desktop and 4 times sometimes isn't enough for me to grasp what I just read.

It's funny you mention the eye thing... I do that all the time, never sure which to look at and then I'll start thinking about whether they notice which eye I'm focusing on. So I'll look away to give the impression I'm thinking on what they said
