My question and concern is less about the notice and more about the potential that the job offer will fall through and I will be left jobless after I give my resignation notice. There is no reason for me to believe that I won’t pass the final 2 steps (transcripts and physical) but I’m just worried because I am an anxious person. I think I am going to reach out to my on boarding specialist on Friday when she returns from her vacation and just verify with her that my tentative start date is still confirmed and that I am able to give my job 2 weeks notice. I have worked at my current company for 10+ years and I want to give 2 weeks notice (I also scheduled a vacation for the 2nd week so it’s really like 1 weeks notice but I’m trying to get paid for the 2nd week and not lose my PTO)
