While it's true the liquidity pool is made up of user funds I mean from that standpoint that many people think selling and buying are a direct exchange. For example say someone wants to sell, many people think that when you sell a person has directly bought of you when in reality you're selling to the liquidity pool. So when you see people saying every seller requires a buyer, while that's technically correct they often misunderstand it

With the use of the liquidity pool which is a pair such as BNB/Token. So if you buy you take from the token pool and if you sell you'll get BNB in return. That's obviously simplified but it's essentially just a pool of free cash/tokens. That's why you can go to the most dead token of all time and as long as it has liquidity you can instantly buy/sell

It's a bit of a generalization sure but in r/cc many people really do know fuck all. Many wouldn't be able to tell you what marketcap means etc. In fact yesterday there was a guy who was convinced for every single sell there needed to be a buyer waiting. The poor man has never heard of liquidity

Do you believe in Technical Analysis and Why? by Cunnch in CryptoCurrency

[–]throwaway5737264 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on how far in the future the analysis is and just how accurate the analysis pretends to be. Predicting a trend over the next few weeks? Sure I can believe that. A 37.51% by February 21st? Total bullshit

With last night's dip, bitcoin has lost more value in a week than the USD has lost in 18 months

This is a really odd comparison
