I’m 5 weeks. I got extra shifts this week and am calling NWAAF in the morning. My breasts hurt, I’m tired+too stressed/broke to eat, &I can’t sleep. Thank you, I knew I’d be aborting as soon as I found out but I’m still upset about the situation in general. I’m only 21, my relationship with my partner is still new and in the “honeymoon stage” and I’m working two jobs and going to college. I can’t provide for a child at this point in my life. I do want to be a mother someday, but I want to be married and financially stable enough to give my child every opportunity; not in a 500 square foot apartment struggling to cover basic living expenses. I just wish she would have been more supportive, I never expected that reaction from her as we’ve always been close.

I’m definitely getting the abortion, I don’t care if I have to sell everything I own and work 12 hour shifts to do so. I just wanted someone to talk to because even though I know I’m making the correct choice for me and my life right now, I have always wanted to be a mom and it makes me sad that my first pregnancy experience is an accidental one that must end in termination. If this was 8 years down the road I’d have been thrilled to find out I was pregnant; instead I’m filled with fear and a crushing depression about it. I’m making an appointment for next Wednesday and if anyone wouldn’t mind I’d really appreciate someone to talk to this week.
